Paul Haddock Back Home at Journal – October 1, 1953

This week the Marlinton Journal has a new name at its masthead, as Editor and Publisher. Editor Paul W. Haddock is back home. He has bought the Journal from Editor Charles Eib, one of the top country publishes of West Virginia.

Editor Haddock is right in coming back home. He carried the Journal depression times as a unit in a chain of newspapers owned by the Woodyards. We all like him. The proof that he liked Pocahontas County and its people is the fact he maintained his legal residence here, and took the first opportunity to return as an editor.
